Meet the Pastoral Team
Pastoral Manager
I am the Pastoral Manager across both campuses. I have previously worked in classes at both Deansway and Brittain Lane, with children/young adults with a variety of needs and abilities. I have been married for many years (I’m not sure which one of us deserves a medal!) I have four daughters; one who was so inspired by doing work experience at Deansway that she became a teacher. I thoroughly enjoy my job and love helping families get all the support and advice they need. I offer emotional and practical support to families who are going through long or short-term difficulties.
We also identify families who are in crisis and determine what would the best support to offer.
If you have any questions or queries please email or call me, I am always happy to talk.
Bali- Pastoral Manager
Regulation & Welfare Support Specialist
Hi, my name is Mikey and I’m the Regulation & Welfare Support Specialist at Evergreen. I’ve worked at Evergreen for over four years now, starting as a TA, before becoming a Learning Mentor and then starting my current role in July ’24.
My role has a focus on overseeing regulation, looking at how we can best support our pupils to regulate themselves, and what extra support and interventions they may need. I also am part of the Pastoral, Attendance and Transport team here at Evergreen, and I’m trained in a number of therapeutic interventions which involves me having 1:1 time with various pupils to support them during their time in school
Outside of school, I also work for the Football Association as a Disability Football Ambassador, this role involves helping improve the FAs disability football provision all over the country.
I am based at the Deansway Campus.
Learning Mentors
Hi, my name is Olivia and I have recently been appointed as one of the Learning Mentors at Evergreen School. In my previous role, I spent 5 years as a Learning Mentor at a mainstream secondary school. I have supported many children and families with a variety of needs. I have started to visit classes across both sites to get to know students that I will be working with. I already feel proud to be working at such a fantastic school, both staff and students alike have welcomed me into my new role.
I look forward to supporting you and your children and young people!
I am based at the Brittain Lane Campus.
Hi, I’m Angie and I am a Learning Mentor working across both Evergreen Campuses. I have worked in various settings supporting children of all abilities within a mainstream and SEN settings. I am trained in various therapies with EYFS training and behaviour management. I am Thrive trained and have an autistic child of my own who I’ve transitioned to independent living. I have a daughter who loves working with animals. I would like to think that I can offer a wealth of experience within a SEN setting from also a personal experience as a parent.
Hi, my name is Daisy and I have recently been appointed as Learning Mentor at the Deansway Campus. I’ve worked at Evergreen School for just over 3 years as a Teaching Assistant in various classes across the Deansway Campus.
I have worked within Education in both Primary Schools and at the Local Authority for the last 10 years. Working at Evergreen School with our amazing young people is a privilege and they inspire me every day.
Outside of School, I love spending time with my family, I have 2 teenage boys and have been married for 10 years. I love to spend time with them much to their dismay, and make sure I am an embarrassment at least once a week.
