Forest School

Evergreen school are lucky enough to have not one, but two, but THREE Forest School settings, one at the Deansway Campus and two at Brittain Lane Campus! Pupils access the Forest School areas throughout the week, spending time outdoors to explore, build and play. Pupils have opportunities to learn about the world around them and the animals and plants that live alongside us. They are encouraged to build confidence through pupil-led learning, taking the lead in their Forest School sessions after different activities planned by Evergreen’s Forest School Leaders. As pupils progress through the years at Evergreen School, there will be opportunities for tool use, fire lighting, outdoor cooking, and shelter building, developing transferrable skills for life!
